Yes to both, as long as it's not within 1" of an enemy model.

I don't think they would come back as 1 man units would they?

Yes they do. Once a Cryptek or Lord in a Royal Court goes down then it is seperated from the unit as it had not been joined to the unit at the start of the game. According to the EL rule you only rejoin the unit if the character had joined that unit in the first place.

So yes you are alone and no you do not get Res Orb as you are not rolling to join the unit with the Res Orb. If you have one your self then sure you can take it.
I'll think of something appropriate soon enough to put here.

Well, I suppose you would still be in a unit if more than one comes back, but if only one comes back they'd be on their own. Either way, a res orb would still be in effect...

The court would most definitely get the 4+ of the res orb. It benefits the model's unit too.

I think the original posters question was:

If 5 Crypteks get killed - do you roll only once for to get all 5 crypteks back or do you roll 1 die for each model. Yes, all 5 get a chance to comeback but that is not the question I am seeing in the first post.

If its a royal court that was never divided into other squads it is considered a Unit and is treated as such (whether it was 1 man or 5 man, under description of royal courts). This means when reviving if they had a res orb they get its benefits but only in the same phase it died (unless the orb reanimates). So if all 5 died as you describe and a res orb was with them, then you would roll all 5 models separately and they revive on a 4+. When reanimated they would follow all the rules for reanimation and those of everliving (rolls for everliving are treated the same as normal reanimation except they reanimate even if the unit is wiped out).

As far as becoming a unit again or not I am uncertain. The everliving rule says that if a model had joined a unit it must try to rejoin said unit. However, if the unit is wiped out they have no unit to join. It also says that if it is placed in coherency with a unit it is eligible to join it will join it, and since its all the same court I don't see why it can't. This is the only part I'm not certain of.
