    i don't know how you guys play, but we're not allowed even 1 point over.

    also, wardancers are not great, try treekin.

    I think you might struggle a bit.

    To start, glade guard scouts are garbage. You pay extra for them losing there best rule, GG Longbows. Id convert the points spent on scouts into more glade guard.

    Also, 1200pts is a decent points limit for wood elves, as you can sqeeze in a treeman. There fantastic monsters, 5 S6 attacks and strangle root. With a 3+/6++ sv, and stubborn Ld.8. Hell do alot more damage than wardancers, and with the amount of drayds you have, eagles are a bit redundant for warmachine hunting.

    As for lore, Id go Beasts. Some great spells, and can be effectve with a relativly low spell count.

    So, if you look at something like;

    *S.weaver w/ Wand of Wych Elm, HoDA = 300
    *10 Glade Guard w/ banner, Musician = 138
    *10 Glade Guard w/ banner, Musician = 138
    *10 Glade Guard w/ banner, Musician = 138
    *8 Dryads = 96
    *8 Dryads = 96
    *Treeman = 285

    ......With 9pts to spare

    If it is as you say, a friendly tournament, then 3 should be plenty as everyone will have left their doom units at home.

    Also if you ditch the Eagles for a treeman then try putting a unit of fast cav in so you have something speedy to go after their back row.
