    Salamanders Painting Guide?

Hi! As I am collecting a new force of Salamanders (with no Vulkan He'stan! ) I ran into a problem. I do not know what colours to paint them, specifically the bright green.
So I was wondering if anyone here knew any of the colours used to paint Salamanders, using the new paints or the old paints (which I will match up using the GW conversion chart) A whole, quick guide would also give me cause to be very grateful to said person

    Thank you

N.B I hope this in the right forum. If not, please move

Seriously, if you're such a **** that you need a Chaos god to back you up in any fight you enter you deserve to get murdered. Real men do it by force of their own badass. And don't even get me started on those weak-ass mother **** psyker witch losers.

    Undercoat in black.
    2 layers of snot green
    green ink/washes
    highlight with snotgreen/goblin green mix
do the gun in black, highlights in grey
pouches in bestial brown, snakebite leather highlight
    metal in boltgun.
Black ink for the pouches, gun etc.
Dot red, light blue or yellow for lenses etc and highlight with a white dot.
Some gold/bronze for some metals - like meltagun nozzles or flamer nozzles
deneb stone w/ sepia/brown wash for purity seals, parchment etc. The wax is red.
Eyes in yellow, getting lighter towards the 'nose' end.
Brown bases look good to contrast them, as do mainly black backpacks.

    Hope that helps

    That's actually an easy one.

Follow the paint plan in the new How to Paint Citadel Miniatures book for the Aurora Chapter, but substitute Biel - Tan Green Shade for the Coelia Greenshade they used and also substitute Waywatcher Green Glaze for the Lamenters Yellow Glaze they used. Other than that, it's exact.
"From the fires of betrayal, Unto the blood of revenge, We bring the word of Lorgar, The Bearer of the Word, The favored son of Chaos; All praise be given unto him, For those that would not heed, We offer praise to those that do, That they might turn their gaze our way, And gift us with the boon of pain, To turn the galaxy red with blood, and feed the hunger of the Gods." - Excerpt of the 341st book of the Epistles of Lorgar.

    Re: Salamanders Painting Guide?

I've recently started a Salamanders army project.

In a nut shell, the current scheme for mine is: Under coat of Chaos Black spray, followed by a base layer of Warpstone Glow (Snot Green) or 2 thinned down layers. Then highlights of Warboss Green (Goblin Green), and a finer highlight of Moot Green (Scorpion Green). I use Nuln oil (Badab Black) for the armour recesses.

It's currently a work in progress but hope this helps
