Kargos is pretty much just a named World Eater in old Chaos publications, nothing special noted about him...actually nothing really noted other than a couple of quotes attributed to him. ADB is obviously going to give him a character. Pretty much a nostalgic thing.

I must say I do enjoy when authors bring out relatively obscure references for the hoary old men like myself (at a horrible age of 24...) Gives me confidence that they are invested in the universe, and aren't just 'writer-for-hire'

Its ADB, he pretty much sets the bar for being invested and doing his homework.
Kargos is in this? **** the hell yes.
ADB is one of us, I get the feeling that if he wasn't writing for BL, he'd be on the forums posting as a fan. That's why he nails the references and throw away comments imo. It's different to someone like Abnett, who while a cracking author who gets the universe, wasn't a fan of the universe growing up.
