"Rules of Engagement", WW2 wargaming in 28mm, at www.greatescapegames.co.uk
Out now: "Clash of Empires" rules for ancient wargaming www.clashofempires.co.uk
Speaking of Victrix, I saw they're going to release Polybian Romans (greens of Principes and Triarii spotted...at first I thought they were doing plastic samintes -- almost had to change my pants at that idea!). Also looks like Warlord has some greens of Marian Romans. If/when the latter come out, I'm going full hog on that army. I have the WF figures, and they're just not up to the job IMHO...

Looks great!
Hadn't noticed the Roman polybian troops earlier! I'll definitely be getting those, much more my cuppa than early imperial which are a bit too much of the "space marines" of ancients gaming
Great year ahead for historicals, it would seem.
I don't see the Romans in that link, Lars, just a bunch of whining about the Perrys doing WW2 minis (which look fantastic, even if the period is a bit too modern for my tastes). What am I missing?
Looks very nice. Alas ancients has never really been a period for me. I have read some very good books on it various ancient periods as well.
Really are people really moaning about the Perrys doing ww2? wow internet forums never cease to amaze me lol.
Thanks man. Great stuff there, in both cases.
Paint job looks great, and the models themselves look very tempting.
My nipponese project log had no idea that Hannibal is in your Alps, ruining your aqueduct in 15mm fashion!
Visit http://www.muraminiatures.com for 6mm Samurai terrain and hobby tutorials!
I'm sure Polybius would be amused by the term "Polybian Romans" lol. I hope they move faster than they did with the hoplites else Agema might beat them to it - http://agema-miniatures.co.uk/our-range/
Those look incredible redben. They've done well by deciding to go for a slightly heroic-scale look in the hands and weapons, and the models overall look incredibly smooth and complete for WIP. I hope much of that detail converts well from 3-up to sprue, because if so, I'll definitely be picking some up.
Where did you find the pictures on that site? I found one small picture of a three up, and that's it.
Ah, it seems like I need the latest flashplayer to see the gallery.
