Bretonnian returning to his keep after many years abroad...

Hi all,

Hope I get this right - feel free to point out anything I'm supposed to be doing differently when posting.

I am returning to the hobby after many years away. I have been reading a few of the threads here to see what has been going on over the past few years, and what is currently of most interest. I am a Warhammer Fantasy player, and am determined to finish painting my Bretonnian army: the models are oldish (5th edition?) but I still think they're great.

My impressions on getting back into things:

• Warhammer has become VERY expensive. That much more motivation to finish painting the models I have rather than buying new ones I suppose!
• The game seems to play very well - I have played a number of games using the 8th edition rules and friends' armies and the game seems to play better than any of the games I remember playing in 5th or 6th edition.
• The Empire (and the rest of the Old World) seems to be hanging in there still and hasn't been swept away by Chaos yet, which is a good thing...
