Ork Clans Poll

Deathskulls - for the blue paint and the fact they were the shootiest Orks back in RT / 2nd Ed when I started out. The conversion possibilities I discovered a bit later which added to their appeal immensely. Blood Axes would be a close second with Evil Sunz and Goffs the bottom two.

I do have a bit of a soft spot for Freebooterz but don't consider them a Klan - in the same way Ferals, Speed Freaks and various tribes are not klanz.

I've been a Deathskull player/fan for almost 20 years (I first read about 'em in the story at the back of 'Ere We Go and thought the were great), I'm not going to change now!

I get a real kick and many laughs from all the Ork fluff and appreciate the personality of each Klan, but for me, there's something irresistible about 4 red (paint) Battlewagons w/ deff rollas steaming forward to unleash bunches of green and yellow Boyz and Nobz. Or wave after wave of yellow and green Boyz in a yellow tide pouring across the table. Bad Moonz, if done well, are one of the most visually striking armies on the table imo and so they get my vote (and paint!). My Orks went Bad Moonz purely because Gork (or Mork) told me to (I wanted to paint a yellow army.) I'm very pleased to see Deathskulls and Bloodaxes so well supported!

Deathskullz all the way. They have been my favorite clan for ~20 years (agree with El_Phen). The conversion possibilities are endless. I currently have a little over 7k painted Deathskullz (I do include an old Armorcast Great Gargant in that), and am excited that I now get to start on their air force with the new kit (it will be Evil Sunz stuff 'dat wuz "borrowed" - red paint job with blue trim).

However, as long as it is Orky, it is awesome. I do have a painted Goff Klawstompa, and I need to paint up some Goff Slugga boys to ride in it.

I voted Goffs here, purely out of practical reasons and "logical" thinking
Their black clothing is the easiest (usually leastdetailed) way of painting an ork.
Ork armies tend to have a scary model count for slow painters like myself...

I'm seriously tempted to start an ork force as my new cool start in 6th edition, but can't decide on a coloursceme yet. untill I've got myself past that, I won't buy a single ork model yet, though...

I voted Bad Moons because it turns out I like painting yellow, simple as that. And, back in the day, it seemed everyone was collecting Goffs round my way.
