I was surprised by the quality the Russian team has, I can see them getting pretty far in the tournament.
They looked pretty decent but largely that was because the Czechs were so bad! Remember that Arseshaven never plays that well consistently and Kerzakhov couldn't hit a barn door with his shooting
Well, group A will be dominated by the Russians. From there on it depends on what real opposition they face. But I guess halffinals or even the finals are possible for them.
What is your view on the next two matches, I'm thinking the Netherlands just beating Denmark 1-0, and Germany beating Portugal soundly.

I'm far from an expert - and my last guesses were all wrong. But the Netherlands will beat Denmark, without a question. I have no clue about Germany... they did pretty poor in some of their last games. I hope for a victory.
My guesses for today: Netherlands 3:0 Denmark and Germany 2:1 Portugal.
I think Denmark will be trounced. And I hope Germany will beat Portugal (something like 2-1), although it could end in a draw.

Ha, the Dutch lost. So many opportunities, had a feeling individual Dutch players did it for their personal rep instead for the team. If we loose from Denmark then against Germany it will be a massacre.
