    Andy_T's Necromunda plog

Hi everyone, was making terrain yesterday and go the 'necromunda bug' and felt the need to dig out my Escher models. Thought I'd have a go at some weapon swaps on any duplicate models I have (so if it goes wrong it's not the end of the world!) Here's some WIP pics.

The Juves base is suppose to look wet in places, but doesn't really come across on pics (iphone)
Do I remember rightly that flamers are great in Necromunda?

    Re: Andy_T's Necromunda plog

I like flamers. particularly if you're lucky and get sprint and hip shooter I had one with my delaques once, it was lovely. I love that shotgun too. can you give me any hints/tips on sculpting equipment? I'm currently trying to turn plastic Orlocks into Cawdor gangers. I think I've done the cloaks and hoods OK but I'm missing somthing on the crispness of the detail and the barrels on your shotgun look great.

PS- It is 1/4 to 5 in the morning, I've just finnished work and I am a little sozzled so excuse me if I don't make too much sense please

    Hi Aly,
I used size 15 bugle beads for the barrels and a paerclip for the other bits. You can get loads of the beads form hobby craft for 99p
Bugle beads come in a variety of lengths too, just don't try to cut them as they shatter! (you can file them down if you're careful tho).

You'll need to pin the shotgun too i.m.o (see pic in last post), again I just use paper clips and liquid green stuff to tidy.
    Hope this helps,
    Andy

There's a couple on eBay at the moment from the US, they seem to go for around the £10-15 mark plus shipping which seems to be about that again so about £25-30 all in. I just searched Syberclicks in eBay. Nice work btw, will be following your progress here with interest.

Is a paper clip! I pinched it from my wife's pencil case. That's why it's pink lol!

Anyway you can recreate those bulk heads and sell them?

    Re: Andy_T's Necromunda plog

@virtual..... It's a bit dodgy me selling them sorry, as work is letting me cut them on the laser cutterfor the kids in the wargames club, but feel free to copy the design (as long as you don't make money off it lol!)

Nice work on the gangers, I'm nabbing the idea of resculpting the hair of the lady with the lasgun. Always good to see a well-made Escher gang

Not having much look persuading my WHQ buddies to play necromunda, so this is more of a painting and modelling plog reather than gaming.... is it possible to move threads? Or is it ok in here?

    Re: Andy_T's Necromunda plog

You might have an easier time getting them into Mordheim then bring them over to Necromunda. WHQ was my introduction to miniature games, and Mordheim was something that was easy to get the group that got me into WHQ to at least try.
