@Nymie: Think if I make them a gang (got a ratskin one somewhere) they can't say no really!
Anyone used inifinity models for nec? been looking at these and there's a local shop that stocks a lot of them too..... http://www.waughgames.co.uk/infinity-28-c.asp

That can definitely help. I think part of our deal was the models were already there for Mordheim from collecting for WHQ. If the models are sitting there painted then it could definitely make recruiting easier.

Corvus Belli makes some beautiful models. They can feel a little fiddly if all of your experience is with GW models or those of similar proportions. They work rather well height wise, but can look a bit anemic next to GW models depending on the models in question. Here are some comparison shots alongside some regular 40K models.

Good comparison shots thanks Maybe I should finish painting the ones I've got before buying more!

    I like these models alot!

Theyre most defenitly female but the poses are more "kicking your **** and looking pretty whilst doing it" rather then "is my butt exposed when I bend like this? Oh it is? Good"

    Which is good

The terrain and minis here are very cool. I've been following for a while. If you are interested in other alternative minis, I maintain an alt-mini thread over at Yakromunda.com:
    http://www.yakromunda.com/forums/index.php?topic=15.0
For Escher the really good ones we've found are:
    http://www.hfminis.co.uk/shop?produc...6-space-farers
http://trollforged.com/shelf_sci-fi_Ganger.html (scroll down a bit for Ganger Girl)
I've got both of these and they look really good next to regular Necromunda Escher.

Sorry for delay in update, been on my hols!

Good news: my 2 mates from school who i played necromunda with all those years ago are coming over this saturday for an all day session of gaming!
Nothing like a deadline to motivate painting, so I've started on their gangs. I'm stripping some van saar and have started some Cawdor.....

More Cawdor shots with a cameo from a Van saar struggled witht the lighting on the pics, but theyre not too bad.

    Re: Andy_T's Necromunda plog

Is that Escher made from Wyches? (the one in the first picture?) Looks really nice! Nice paintjob as well

Pink and white contrast really well together, might have to nick that idea from you

    Re: Andy_T's Necromunda plog

You spotted helga! It is a wych, although I chopped alot off as she was a bit too armoured and too tall (still is tbh). I stole the colour scheme off someone else so feel free to nick it

    Re: Andy_T's Necromunda plog

Wyches make great Eschers.. My only problem with them is their larger size.

They work best as all Wych gang because of it.

    Re: Andy_T's Necromunda plog

Yeah, in hindsight I shouldve made her a heavy, then it wouldn't matter so much that she's bigger. Instead I've called her helga and given her an amusing back story involving her mother and an ogryn

    Re: Andy_T's Necromunda plog

Ok, my mates arrive tomorrow so it's a bit of a modeling frenzy today, I have some home made scenery (check out my budget terrain plog) and found some robogear stuff in the loft (takes ages to build btw!)
I need to finish the table, terrain and my Escher..... will have to prioritise I think. Some WIP pics:

keep up the good work. with regard to wythes- i really don't mind some height differences as I think it makes them look better, I mean we're not all the same height and build are we? you do need a range of sizes though.

Looking for folks who fancy playing necromunda in Walsall area. Drop me a PM if interested

    Re: Andy_T's Necromunda plog

She is quite OK, You had chosen best looking legs for her. Running legs would make her looks much larger, but with sucubuss legs she is just tall chick and fits quite well.
Unfortunately there is only one pair of such legs in a box.
