So what's this then? A variant of BloodBowl?

Basically blood bowl in a dungeon with loads of funky rules, the board game was pretty good, the pc version... well I gave up after 20 minutes of trying to play!!!

Did you play the Blood Bowl computer game?

The reason I ask is that if you're used to the... uh... "quirks" of the BB computer game, and still find Dungeonbowl inaccessible... that's a different thing from coming to Dungeonbowl fresh, so not being already familiar with the "idiosyncracies" of the existing game.

This makes the BB game seem like a masterpiece!! I've still yet to manage to play a single game! and I'm getting to the point where I don't even think I want to!

This just came up on Steam. I admit I missed its earlier release and am intrigued, but Hastings did you ever sort out your problems with the game?

I'm thinking it might not be the auto-purchase I assumed it was.

Wow, well in that case I'll save my money for Torchlight II, thanks for the tip off!

So far, I quite liked it. It was entertaining.

Couple of things are odd, such as goblin bommers - I have no idea how to throw the stupid bombs in the game, but for the most part it's a fun game and one I still play.

From what I've heard, there's no chance that I'll buy this. No way to play against the computer, only three teams, and worse gameplay than Blood Bowl.

If this had been an expansion for Blood Bowl that let me use my team of ultraviolent Amazons in Dungeonbowl, let you play as a College team in Blood Bowl, let you play combined Blood Bowl/Dungeonbowl tournaments, etc... I wouldn't write it off so readily.

Goblins aren't my preferred team, but IIRC in the original game there was a window in the bottom-right of the screen with three buttons at the top - one of which was the "throw bomb" button.

The first Bloodbowl was only tolerable because it was Bloodbowl.
But Cyanide as a studio are shockinbad!
Lion: Hey Russ, you'll never guess what!
Russ: Yeah, I know! Magnus is a traitor! To think that he could accuse our beloved brother Horus of turning against us. Impossible! But don't worry. I have taken care of it, Horus asked me to destroyed Prospero and I have. Magnus shouldn't be bothering us again.
Lion: ... actually, I was going to say that Magnus was right. Horus has turned to Chaos, 7 other Legions have joined him and he has destroyed 3 Loyal Legions already!
