Excellent weekend once more, thank you to all my opponents. Well done to Kevin for the win, there were some excellently painted armies there, Simon, David and Pete (just for the sheer quantity of guardsmen he had to paint consistently!!) were all incredible.

Regards fliers to be honest no one seemed to have any issues bringing down fliers in their games against me! Apart from Mike who ignored them and killed all the squidgy stuff on the ground instead, David got 4, Simon got 5 and Steve got all 6. So I'm not overly worried that they will absolutely dominate the gaming scene. Definitely need to get some nice new AA and flier models for all the codexes though!!

I can officially say that war walkers are still cheese though

Allies i think are a good idea. Hower ever may be they should be limited to Battle brothers.

Thanks to everyone one it was a great weekend again and was really nice and laid back.

6th edition is really fun I think much better than 5th. I think allies will work quite well, in lower point games its not going to be so easy to fit them in without a lot of consideration towards the main army. I also felt the missions were a lot more fun as well.

There's quite a few promising rumours that the new Chaos codex will arrive on September the 1st.

Would it be viable for the next event if this is true?

From a painting perspective its a right pain not knowing if what your working on will be legal in two months.
