    200 point kill teams

    40K Army: Other
    So Further down this page there is a thread about 150 point HQ battles, which I thought was quite an interesting read! I thought what about killteams! What would you guys run in a kill team game? Remember 0-2 troops, 0-1 Elite, and 0-1 Fast attack. Light vehicles only!

    Mine would be:

    Sternguard Squad - 150 points
    5 Sternguard
    4x Combi-melta
    1x Heavy Bolter

    Razorback - 50 points
    Twin-linked Heavy Bolters
    Storm Bolter

    Edit: Heavy Bolter has relentless, one of the sterguard has feel no pain, and another one has scout.

    Max lootas seem to do well often. Also proven fact, the louder and more often you yell "Dakka", the better Ork shooting gets.

    I'd run 7 Sternguard with 2 combi-meltas, 2 combi-plasmas (1 with FNP, 1 with Stealth) and a missile launcher (Relentless).

    Edit: Actually, I wonder how a pair of cannon wraithlords would work, focus the few units that can actually hurt T8, then auto-win.

    WL's are heavy... so that wouldnt work at all..

    TWC w/ TH/SS, TWC w/ SS - T5 3+/3++, 1 str10 (19 with rend), 1 str5 (14 with rend), 18" charge range (they both got meltabombs as i had 10pts spare)

    no clue if you pay for the bonuses, if not i will give FNP to the TH/SS

    i suppose the old favourite of TH/SS termies will fair well.

    Doh! No HS, I forgot. Termies are out too IIRC, no 2+ saves.
