Need help with Trollbloods armylist

Hello. I would like to make a troll list around Winter Troll and Rök, what army choices go well with them? The theme of the army is will be winter with snowy bases and such.

how much experience have you had with hordes? are you brand new into the game or have you at least played Warmachine?

usually the Warpack is usually the standard place to start, that way you get a good introduction to the rules and how the faction plays overall.

Rok seems pretty awesome, as he's basically an upgraded mauler with a breath weapon.

from what I gather, the wintertroll isn't a bad unit to say, but he's more of a unit you have to put some effort to get to work, such as a ranged attack boost or a debuff on the enemy.

I have good amount of Cygnar already but I have only played against Hordes armies few times. I'll be getting the troll starter box so at least I'll have Madrak. I was thinking of converting the second Impaler to the Winter Troll and convert the normal Mauler into the Rök.

now, do you like the winter troll because you like the beard, or do you find the rules actually look competitive?

otherwise, you could always just convert your trolls with beards like the winter trolls if you just really like the look. I've seen conversion articles for that in a NQ a long time ago.
