Primeval is back on ITV!

Good news for anyone who enjoyed Primeval but don’t have Sky TV, the 5th series will finally be shown on ITV starting on Saturday. I know it is not the intelligent Sci-fi series around, but I’ve always found to be a good laugh and I’m glad I’ll be able to see new episodes.

I'm glad it's back on telly. I have seasons 1-4 on DVD, and wasn't sure if I'd seen season 5 or not(did they make it the same year as season 4?).

Probebly, it was on one of the satellite channels shown at least a year ago so may have been made about the same time as 4, been trying to remember what happened in it as it - be nice to see it again

Series 6 maybe next year, hopefully they will make one, if they do it maybe that it will be last one and they will wrap any plot lines up ect - or set a few years in the future and the world now knows about the anomolies ect and they are everyday life

"[Tim Haines] says that it is very unlikely that a sixth series of Primeval will be commissioned in the UK . We won’t know for 100% certain until after it has transmitted on ITV in June or July, as they were the main investors in the series and will make a decision based on the ratings and success of series 5 for their audiences. But all signs are that it won’t be renewed which is, of course, very sad. However the show lives on in Primeval: New World, the North American series being produced by Omni Film in Canada and which starts shooting at the end of February." ―Grant Bushby, Head of PR and Marketing for Impossible Pictures



EDIT 2 - Series 4 and 5 was shown within 3 months of one another, so was probebly made close to one another if not in 1 go to save money in getting the cast together ect
