    Mantic's Jotunn Hailstorm cannon.

No issues assembling my three. So simple, instructions not required.

Don't know about pricing over there, but over here, they're three for the price of one (finecast version).

if you want a TFC, just get an achilles... as of wednesday I was all for it. then on games night thursday... it was taken out by a slugga. He needed a 5+ to hit, a 4+ randomised to hit the TFC, followed by a 6+ to glance... and me to fail a 3+ cover save. one shot, one kill

if you want one.. get an Acilles. for 300pts (losing the 75pt techmarine) more you are getting av14 thats impervious to melta and lance, 2 twin-linked MM's and PoTMS.. and an extra 10pts on top, it ignores difficult and dangerous terrain.

the rapiers are better for guard tbh and even then i would only take it if im low on points

are you kidding me? that looks worse than the TFC... it looks like it would only work if you model a squat army

The Rapier with Marine crew from FW is a good alternative. About the right size, though a tad shorter. decent price. Easier to assemble. And comes with two awesome looking marines.

Yeah, I've got to chime in with a vote for the Rapier with the Marine Crew, looks nice and should pose very few problems as a counts as weapon. It'll also retain it's charm when they inevitably redo the TFC, even if it's a sexy new plastic kit with lots of alternate options and different variations that you just have to own you'll still have a (some) nice forgeworld Rapier(s) in your collection which can be used as just exactly what they are if you decide to use the FW rules, just as The Marshel says.

Ill second the Mantic Cannon cost £12 on ebay brand new and goes together really easily.

Size wise it fits in well with space marines too

Cheers I have to be honest I dont like the mantic cannon its got the same problems as the TFC the cannon is like twice as big as the tracks it sits on, I think for £37 I'll get a rapier and buy a finecast techmarine and like Marshel says it can be whatever I feel like on the day, they really need to change the TFC it makes the stormtalon look good.

I was just looking at the Ariadna 'Traktor Muls' from the Infinity range and thought of this thread. http://www.infinitythegame.com/infin...y-and-support/
They're not too bad. I wouldn't be embarrassed to own them.

A 1/35 nebelwerfer. It has multiple barrells, fits the scale, cheap, easy to put together, and it werfs nebels so what's not to like?

Not excited about the Squat Thudd Gun? I have one sitting around, so if I were to ever need a Thunderfire Cannon, it would without a doubt get the call. Probably with it's original crew, haha.

But, the Rapier Laser Destroyer is another nice one. Bonus points if you can get your hands on one of the original metal ones just for nostalgic awesomeness and convert your own Techmarine crew.
