Hordes Battlebox?

I have finally decided to give Hordes a crack, and want to get hold of the two-player Battlebox.

Ideally of course I'd like to get it out a discount... but Maelstrom claim it's not available until September, and Dark Sphere and Triple Helix don't list it at all! What's going on? It is available now, isn't it? (In the UK, if that makes a difference!)

It's definitely worth the wait if you want Legion and/or Circle - the value of that box is ridiculous for the asking price.

Yes, I think I'm going to go Circle. The Battlebox basically means I get the Circle stuff cheaper than normal, and the Legion stuff and the rulebook free. Seems reasonable to me!

There's only a few Warmahordes models I really like, and they're spread out across most of the factions... but I like pretty much all the Circle ones in the box, so that decided it really. (May end up converting the big wolf thing a bit).

Would this box likely be worth it for a Legion/Cygnar player? The owner at my LGS said the WM box is a crazy good deal and that it is basically paying for one army getting the other free + the mini rule book. However I do not play either of the armies in the WM box but play one of them in this Hordes box.

Nope. Just checking if it would still be worth it if I only play one of the armies. With the value the box contains, the circle would practically be free models right?

Essentially, yes.
You could always sell them on.
I, for example, only have an interest in the Circle stuff. (Actually I was hoping for Trollbloods in the box, but what can you do...)

Okay just checking. I guess it would. Personally I'd find someone who wanted the other faction contents and make sure they're there with me to pay for their half (bought the WM set and now can't get rid of the menoth ) That way its like buying a warpack and then the extra models are free.

Metal skinwalkers alone cost about as much as the entire 2-player box. So just think of it as paying for the Skinwalkers and getting the rest for free!
