I had a cool idea the other day while looking back through my sad neglected youtube channel, i thought of making a 'how to draw' channel showing people how to create images with markers and pastels. I would hope to capture a larger audience than my lizardmen videos as a 'drawing channel' would be interesting to anyone involved in design. I would also get my peers to watch it and maybe try and sell it to the secondary school i used to work at.
What i want to do is capture enough viewers so that i can monetise the channel and therefore make (a little) change from the videos, it would also keep me sharp sketch-wise and i would be able to gather a larger amount of feedback than just posting pictures on my FB.
It would be similar to the standard battle rep videos with a stage by stage construction of a drawing and a voice over by me, smaller videos working on one aspect of a drawing (eg highlights) could be done a an entire video with voice over.
Any other ideas/feedback/things i havent thought of?
