New to BFG: I like Tau

hi, drop the barracudas and mantas. use markers instead.
One Warden pack is enough to get your fleets at 1500 pts. In large games three for your custodian, there yiu can use gun variants of the Emissaries.
In small games without the battleship use the grav hook variant of the Emissary.

If you have good play experience with them you can always order a second pack plus another Protector one.

As AC has a powerful effect to game, I would like to see them as models.
But, If I have seen your post before ordering, I would lessen the warden pack to 1.

My curiosity, are you a Tau player as well or you help with your general experience?

No worries, at least your AC looks better then mine.

And with more Wardens you can have the grav hook Emissary along the Custodian. 7 Wardens is a good asset.

6* Castellan

Available as extra/back up:
1* Explorer
1* Emissary
4* Warden

Strike Fleet Addition (fresh):
3* Protector
3* Castellan

And I am thinking of adding a Rogue Trader for fun in some matches.

I would like to hear your FW Tau tactics too. Can you share me some (considering my order list)

Depends on opponent.

Keep fleet together, enemy in front arc, Wardens at the back, Castellans as well.
Spam the table with torpedo markers early on.
Watch out for boarding actions.
Use the turn rate on Protectors to get good angles and/or escape routes.
Wardens only come in when the lines get close.
