    Looking for classic dungeon crawl

I really miss playing warhammer quest, and was wondering what similar sort of things may be out there these days. I'm kind of looking for some classic tabletop-meets-rpg style dungeon crawl games that use or could use miniatures. I've been browsing and I'm not sure if there is anything that gives the scope of what i would like to do vs. just doing an rpg with minis, but is there anything out there?
Yeah, we flew our space church across 500 light years to get to this planet taken over by the orks. Now we're going to drop from orbit in buckets and run out and shoot pistols and hit people in the head with chainsaws. Ultramarines!

I use several of my Dwarven Forge dungeon sets and create fairly large dungeons for D&D and DragonQuest (which, incidently, DragonQuest was originally made to be a miniature fighting simulation game!) which was the precursor to D&D (I suggest using 3rd Edition as the rules are more clarified and seem to be pretty smooth which TSR took over). Personally, I almost prefer playing DragonQuest over D&D as it is all based on % rolls.

So.. there. My vote is for DragonQuest. You can still find their rulebook and even some adventures on Ebay. There are also some really good fansites that have DQ adventure downloads and even a pretty good Excel charactersheet.

What about Super Dungeon Explorer? There is also the Pathfinder Beginner Box?

Descent, Talisman, and Super Dungeon Explore all come to mind if you're looking for something more on the board-game end of things, although I don't know that any of them really have a whole lot to offer in the RPG department (to be honest I've never played any of them, I'm just aware of them all).

Why not just start a new WHQ campaign, though?
The great thing about the dwarves is that, even though there's this comic element, when they fight - they really fight!

Descent and the Dungeons and Dragons games offer more of a "Role Play" feel. Descent: Road to Legends has a campaign that is pretty solid rules wise.

Super Dungeon Explore is an AWESOME game that is basically Gauntlet in a board game instead of a video game. The new expansion will release "Koopa Troopa" type models. It is very over the top. Awesome game but not sure it's what you are looking for.

If you can find a copy, HeroQuest is pretty good.

    Wrath of Ashardalon is brilliant.
Dark Eldar - Kabal of the Posion Tongue
Salamanders - II Company 'Hammers of the Forge'
Blood Angels - V Company 'Knights of Baal'
The Blighted Ones - Deathguard Septuncis
    Southampton Sluggaz
