    Finecast and converting - Varghulf

    Hi all

I'm looking set on buying the finecast varghulf, but im not rly happy with its pose.

More specifically its right arm that flails about so.

I'd rather have it in pose like that of the John Blanche picture in the book where it's more gargoyle like.

My question is: How to best go about changing the position of that arm?

From an outstretched wing to a tightly folded one. You've got a job ahead of you, me bucko. It's going to start with cutting, repositioning and refixing the joints - shoulder, elbow, wrist. And then figuring out what to do with the membranes.

That, or cutting off the wing altogether and sculpting/commissioning a new one.

Probably easier if you can get yourself a metal Varghulf, given how fragile Finecast can be, although you might have some success with cutting out the membranes, applying heat and bending the bones into the desired shape.
