    Good site for selling miniatures?

Anyone have any tips for this? I have some painted and some that are not painted.
Ebay have started to charge outrages fees so i am looking around for some other places.

    Thanks for any advice.

Warseer trade forum works pretty well, in my experience!
If you play any of Mantic's games, check out my Battlescribe project for KoW and Warpath.

I would highly suggest BarterTown. Personally, I have had some great trades and purchases there. No feas to sell anything as it's a trading/selling forum site. Also comes with a good reputation monitor (called Reference) and you can see what other people have wrote on their trades and purchases with other people. I would suggest going over the site/trading/selling rules prior to posting so you know what the standard procedure is for things.

I found BarterTown to be a bit 'loud' to so speak and things were easily lost in the noise. eBay is always great if you're willing to eat listing fees and whatnot. (Sell enough and basic listing is free) WarSeer is the best and there's some feedback and reputation associated with it.

Tip for eBay - If you're aiming to sell it local (well, the same time-zone area) have it END on a Sunday evening, which is eBay's peak traffic time. Works like a charm!

I suppose it may depend on where you are located. I have tried WarSeer and found that it is a bit harder for me (living in the US) to create purchasing arrangements as everyone that I have tried to deal with prefers dealing with UK only (which is fine as it's the sellers perogative). BarterTown, for me, has been so much easier to work and deal with. I can suspect then that the true may be reversed if from UK, but can only speculate and like all Ads would depend on where the sale originates. But I can only give my personal experience.

I can add, though, that perhaps the OP could post ads in both places (WarSeer and BarterTown) and reach a broader market as both sites are free to post. Just a thought.

Bartertown and Warseer's own trading forum should be all that you need. Personally, I've bought, sold, traded more on Bartertown than any other place in my life.

@OP: Check your malapropisms please! It took me a while to work out what "outrages fees" were, initially thinking they were some kind of additional fee you had to pay if the buyer was not satisfied (would not have surprised me with eBay screwing over the seller at every opportunity).

The word you are looking for is "outrageous".

But yes, this very site is excellent for trade.

I live in Texas! Then again, I'm typically selling, rather than buying and as long as someone's willing to pay for shipping and it doesn't involve Nigeria and extra money "for [my] troubles"... I'm game.

Probably best. Make sure they're both kept updated as to what's available though, if you sell bit by bit!
