Imperial Armour Warmarch

I'm planning on going to the Imperial Armour Warmarch in August along with some friends, just wondering if anyone else is going and what they are thinking of taking?

A friend & I will be taking Armoured company, I have a friend who'll be taking Chaos Space Marines & a third friend who I don't know what he's planning on but suspect Marines

So who else is going & what are you taking?

As it would appear that I am the only person on this forum who is attending the Warmarch, should I expect more or less gamers than the 60 that turned up for the Badab War last year?

Hi there, I'll all be going to Warmarch next week, just to let ya know. I'll be taking my Chaos Space Marine (Serpend Guard). I'm not familiar with the 'Armoured Company', I guess this is an all tanks / vehicle army from an Imperial Armour book? If this is true that is one scary prospect indeed! Out of interest how would you take and hold objectives with such an army seeing as how in 6th edition vehicles can not contest or hold objectives (unless I'm mistaken of course)? OR am I missing the point and you simple obliterate the opponent and automatically win?

As for claiming objectives my plan is based around lucky rolls as 2 of the missions allow me to claim objectives and 1 of the warlord traits, that and obliterating the opponent does also work.

I've got a few bits to do finish the army then I'll post a pick

Ah I see, I certainly hope I won't be facing your army across from me as I'm not sure what I could do against it?! lol I'll look forward to seeing a picture some time soon. I'm still torn as to what to take, I have a few super heavies available to use but they cost so many points and do not leave me many points for the rest of the army I'll try and get around to uploading some photos of my army some time soon.

That is alot of armour right there buddy!!!! What's that big tank thing like with the butt load of missiles?

Thats a Praetor, it's a superheavy mobile artillery piece with 3 missile options to choose from
