These are just a little bit wow. I love the weathered dreadnought; it's fintting that he should look a little worn when he's participating in one of the most brutal battles in imperial history.

What colour did you use for the green? It's perfect for the Sons of Horus.

    Re: Sheep's Sons of Horus

    Thanks gents

Lilloser: The green is a mix I stole from DPA, its a 70:30 mix of panzer aces USMC tank crew:Astronomicon grey, Highlighted 50:50, then straight astro grey before weathering.

    Boom sauce!

Two months after starting him, its finally done. I lost a bit of traction painting him when I fell out of love with the scheme, but the weathering really brought it back for me, turns out I can't paint anything clean with armour.

Here's a couple more pics. The rest can be seen on my blog if you're interested.

    Thanks for looking.

*looking at these pics, the gem is a bit flat, I'll have to redo that, teachs me to cut corners.

    Looks awesome dude

Yeah the eye could use some more depth but that shouldn't be that hard for you to achieve with some darker counter shading

I love the way your super heated titanium effect turned out, and the blood looks really great too.

awesome sheep, the battle damage is particularly awesome

about the eye: I thing the compelling thing of the eye is that it that the iris runs from the top to the bottom, you know what I mean? Check out the HH art.

But, that's just a little thing in a pile of awesomeness. I envy you for your use of battle damage. I always would have liked to go this far, but somehow I always think my stuff looks messy this way, but I think you pull it off..

ok the models look cool(really awesomly cool, and ill be basing my SoH heresy army on them), BUT i really dont like the fact you used the Space Wolves codex SoH are NOT Space Wolves and the useage of a different codex for your army is compleatly wrong sorry but its the way i see it.

    Because everybody needs two!

Love the converted assault cannon, the different pattern Cyclone Missile Launcher and the marine about to meet his doom.

How comes you have had to mould the groin piece? I think that the leg might be just a bit to high as he looks a little off balance from this angle.

    Keep em coming mate!

Don't forget that this is just a split second move, captured in a static miniature. I think it looks fine, really awesome even. The pose is perfect, it has a hint of non chalance, like he's crushing an annoying bug. Really good sheep.

With all these sons around I should also continue my sons..
Once again, you have a style that really speaks to me, yet never occurs to me before you do it!

Love the Mortis Contemptor, I've just finished one of those - pure awesome on the table too, 12x S6 Rending shots (Kheres Assault Cannons are Hvy6) plus the 2x S8 Krak... bye bye flyers.
