Just like the skyray, hydra, firestorm etc that were also included in that list, AA mounts will be updated in the book. (though probably only fw models not GW ones).

Because all the other IA campaign books include GW proper units too. Storm Talons and Razorwings don't have a full Departmento Munitorum specification (giving top speed, weight etc). I could see the Valk not making it in as it has been included in previous books, other than as part of the Sky Talon entry or alongside it out of a sense of completeness.

GW ones might be dropped, but if there's space I could see them being included over Harbingers, Avengers and Blast-bombas. Plus they'd be fairly easy things to add since like the other FW stuff the work has been done already for the AI books.

It isn't a campaign book, it is a flyer supplement with a campaign. How many GW units were included IAA 2nd ed? That was a similar sort of thing (without thecampaign), updating a whole medley of FW units for 5th edition.

Nice that they're bringing this out so quickly I'm only slightly concerned that we might see the super heavy rules get altered come GW's inevitable overhaul of Apocalypse which would require them redoing those units entries yet again, hopefully they'll be releasing a FAQ to list the hull point scores of the rest of their other non apocalypse vehicles in the meantime.

IA1&2 had no campaign in then and did include the basic units. There's also the opportunity to have a set of rules for the existing flyers that incorporates the new 6th ed rules.

Oh, you mean the books that came out twelve years ago, as opposed to my example from 7 months ago? Think I'll go with the recent precedents myself.

Re: Next Imperial Armour Book - Aeronautica

It of a new book or a book including the last two opuses, accompanied with a new campaign (that previous one being against the tau empire)?

Re: Next Imperial Armour Book - Aeronautica

I counted up all the available FW kits that are flyers or AA guns that are not currently part of a codex list (But including those in the Apocalypse rules) and got at total of 34... So maybe we are going to see a small wave of new FW flyers - probably conversion kits for the GW flyers.
    Just speculation of course...

There's also the unreleased Forge World IG Avenger that was on display.

Well, I just looked through the FW site, and I came up with about 31 certainties, some of which are just variants and could conceivably be done in one entry, plus one or two they could include, but probably won't:

    Marines
    Thunderhawk
    Thunderhawk Transporter
    Storm Eagle
    Caestus
    Land Speeder Tempest

    Navy/ Other Imperial
    Sky Talon
    Vulture
    Lightning
    Lightning Strike
    Thunderbolt
    Marauder
    Marauder Destroyer
    Arvus
    Aquila

    Eldar
    Nightwing
    Phoenix
    Void Dragon Phoenix
    Vampire Raider
    Vampire Hunter

    Tau
    Barracuda
    Remora Drone
    Manta
    Tiger Shark
    Tiger Shark AX-10
    Orca

    Ork
    Chinork Copta
    Fighta-Bommer

    Chaos
    Helltalon
    Hellblade
Possibly the named Bloodthirster and Lord of Change

    Tyrannids
    Harridan
Possibly the Winged Hive Tyrant, Rippers and Warriors

    Dark Eldar
    Raven

    Necrons
    None

Even adding in the AA weapons, I'd say the Blasta-Bommer, Avenger, maybe the Harpy (mentioned in one of the IA:Apocalypse data sheets) are possible.

so its true they'll be reducing the cost of the Storm Eagle? cause at the moment its basic pts is just shy of a Land Raider, how many points do you think it should be? i plan on buying one and can anyone answer does it come with all its additional weapons like the lascannons?

Comes with lascannons which as far as I can tell it'd look rubbish without using.

Uses the storm raven nose so has the missile launcher, heavy bolters and multi melta options.

Comes with the two top missile pods, one of which I lost! So if you use it for chaos marines (which don't get the top two missile pods) I'd buy them from you!

Really think I should clarify, we've just been posting a list of thing things that could be in the book not what is.

Thanks to Sai-Lauren we've got a list of FW's flyers which doesn't quite make the full set of numbers advertised in the WD. Adding in the Firestorm, Sabre, Pylon and Flakk-wagon still leaves a few slots open so I can see some GW units making it in (particularly Flak tanks like the Skyray and Whirlwind/Hunter that don't currently have Flak rules - as well as the new Necron, Dark Eldar and Marine units that don't currently have a Campaign/Aeronautica level of detail in any of their entries yet).
