A recap of characters before Void Stalker please

So I have finally found some time to start Void Stalker but it's been a while since I read the last two in the series. I was wondering if anyone would be so kind as to list the characters of first claw and secondary characters? Just there names and a tiny bio on each one to jog my memory would be of much help!

I mistakenly looked them up on 40k wiki but had to avert my eyes away from the text as soon as I realised it detailed their demises.

Here's a quick summary of the major/minor recurring characters and their status as of the beginning of Void Stalker.

**MINOR SPOILERS AHOY!!!**


1st Claw, at the start of Void Stalker, consists of:

1) Talos
Our main Night Lord. Prophet, Soul Hunter. He's recently become the leader of the war band after the Exalted died in Blood Reaver. Has a vision of First Claw's death at the hands of the Ulthwe Eldar at the end of Blood Reaver

2) Xarl
Talos's childhood "friend." Master swordsman. Very bitter and sardonic.

3) Cyrion
Marine with a sense of humor; always has the witty remark. Can sense fear in others, which makes some of the others suspicious of him.

4) Uzas
Slipping into insanity and the worship of Khorne. Despised by the others, but has occasional moments of insightful lucidity.

5) Variel
Former Red Corsairs apothecary. Helped the Night Lords steal one of their ships back from Huron Blackheart in Blood Reaver. Knows Talos from a previous encounter; the two respect each other. Likes flaying people.

6)Mercutian
Dour heavy weapons specialist. Joined the squad after his Claw was annihilated in Soul Hunter. Doesn't get along well with Xarl (not that anyone does, really)

Other Characters:

Septimus
Talos's slave and artificier as well as First Claw's thunderhawk pilot. Becoming romantically involved with Octavia.

Octavia
Navigator captured by Talos in Soul Hunter.

Malcharian
Former captain of 10th Company, now entombed in a dreadnought. Was thought destroyed in Soul Hunter, but revealed to still be alive at the end of Blood Reaver.

Deltrian
Techpriest. Looks like the grim reaper.

The Exalted (Deceased)
Possessed former leader of 10th Company (as Captain Zandred). Regained control of his body and sacrificed himself at the end of Blood Reaver so that First Claw could escape with their new vessel (the name escapes me).

Ruven (Deceased)
Traitorous Night Lord sorceror. Executed by Talos at the end of Blood Reaver.

Champion Malek, Garadon, and the Atramentar (Deceased?)
The Exalted's terminator bodyguard. Were last seen on the Covenant of Blood before it was destroyed (along with the Exalted) at the end of Blood Reaver Their fate is speculated upon by First Claw afterword.

War-band Champion / enforcer for First Claw. Every other Night Lord in the band is scared of him.

The Exalted (Deceased)
Possessed former leader of 10th Company (as Captain Zandred). Regained control of his body and sacrificed himself at the end of Blood Reaver so that First Claw could escape with their new vessel (the name escapes me).

The vessel they stole was the Echo of Damnation and the Captain was Vandred, good run down of the characters although I'd add one more which is Nonus - Talos' nineth slave which he captured in Blood Reaver.

I didn't realise before reading Void Stalker that there is Night Lords short story in Fear the Alien which I wouldn't say has to be read before Void Stalker but it does answer a question about one small element of the book

Near the end of Void Stalker when Talos and the others make their stand they change into Terminator armour which when I read the book initially I didn't know where it had come from. On reading the short story from Fear the Alien, the armour came from Salamanders in terminator armour who boarded the same hulk as the Night Lords. The Bleeding Eyes refused to listen to Talos when he told them to retreat (Talos was fighting off Genestealers to defend Deltrian while he downloaded the information on the Titans) and were determined to take on the Salamander Terminators, after taking heavy losses they instead redirected the awakening genestealers to take down the Salamanders. They retrieved six sets of Terminator armour which are carried to Deltrian at the end of the story who comments that it won't be a problem to repair the armour for use by the Night Lords.
