Opinions Please (Tau)

Ok so I'm thinking of started a new army for 6th ed, I currently play DE but have reached about 3k in points and basically want a new challange.

Ive messed about with Necrons but it puts me off them being flavour of the month at the moment.

Anyway been messing about with Tau schemes, I don't really want the squeaky clean Tau that is generally seen, so I have gone for more a weatherd deserty look. I just wanted opinions if of if it works or any constructive comments?

Looks good like an experienced fielded army.
Still, you could have an occassionaly squeaky clean item, replacement equipment/personnel.

I love weathered armys, with dust and chipped armours. I think your Taus look good, but you should look for a little more contrast between armor and dirt on it.

Not bad, but I agree there could be a bit more contrast. The armour on the leg of the second guy starts to blend into the cloth, the skin on the top guy is very dark, and it's a tad difficult to tell what's shade or weathering. I think a few more edge highlights could make things pop a wee bit more, without spoiling your effect.
