    Apocalyptic industry terrain

    Hello!
A few months ago I started a terrain project which by now is almost finished. From the beginning it was meant to be a necromunda industry complex. I think it suits quite fine to play wh40k city fight on as well. Another idea is to play some (soon) home built necromunda zombie quest on it. Have anyone seen any such rules? I thought I wasn't the first with that idea Anyway here's some videos on the terrain!

I have some "making of"-material on my blog, click the link below.

FANTASTIC!!! Unfortunately I can't watch the movies (due to the *********** german GEMA) but I love your blog. Is there a way to send me the videos other than youtube?

    Best, G

First links work fine for me

That is one AMAZING table you made there man Im looking to add some terrain for my table as well, making use of daily items like tin cans, empty bottles etc etc. Can you tell me how you made those ladders? And where you got the see through mesh from?

    -edit-

Looking through your log il have to add some more questions Half way through the language changed (my guess is its Swedish? ) so I cant get the anwser from the log itself...

How did you make most of your buildings? What are they made from? Cartboard or such?
How did you make those posters?
How do you get ramps to stay in place? Is it hard to conect for example a first floor to a second floor?
What material(s) have you made the pipes out of?

    Those were kinda it

Of the 2 new vids, the 2nd one works. Not sure why the other one doesn't.

Have to admit, your table is incredible!!! Love the look and feel of it. How did you paint it up? Spray paint Cat.Green? and how did you make the metal ladders (out of paperclips)?

nice conversion of the pit slaves too. Great stuff!!!

edit: Just noticed that the Adobe Flash is no longer compatible with my OS....so guess its time to scrub the comp and see if I have unwelcome visitors.

    Thank you!
Yes, it's Swedish I'll try to translate:
Most of the buildings are made of old computers, screens and similar stuff. For the bricked buildings I used so textured card from Heki. I found some wavey card which I used for corrugated metal sheet.
Some of the posters I googled and printed. The bigger ones I used old Soviet propaganda posters and put some imperial quotes to them. You can find them on my blog.
Some of the walkways are made och metallic mesh, those ones just stay in place
The pipes are made of plastic pipes made for gathering cables I think, really cheap, about 1$ per meter.

Hope that I answered your questions

    Re: Apocalyptic industry terrain

We've run a zombie apocalypse scenario a few times, and found that it does horrific things to the participating models. They either die horribly, or very swiftly max out. My gang leader has survived two such outbreaks, and is just about to hit 400xp...

...on the other hand, our scenario may be a little broken...still working on that...
