Idea's and thoughts on New Custom Gaming Product

Hello and thanks for your time and interest in our thread! If you don't already know Great_Destroyer and I have been working non-stop to manufacture and create Warlord titans which we will still continue to produce. As of right now though we are going to be looking into investing the rest of our silicone and resin to create and cast a new batch of gaming models/terrain/bases etc..

Our question to you, the Warseer community, Is what would you like to see next? Has there been a special piece of terrain lacking on the gaming board? Need a new station for your paints and supplies? Custom pieces that you would love to see but never had? Or some different bases that really stood out from the rest?

Right now we are currently brain storming to find a product we can make that will appeal to many both to their eyes and wallet. We will take any thoughts into consideration and at first plan on making drawn blueprints, working it's way to a first draft piece and if a good interest, it will get a mold and resin casts.

It is actually a very competitive market with a ton of quality manufacturers out there so I wish you luck.

I enjoy making my own terrain so there isn't much that I would want but trying to think what would be the least represented type of terrain.

Adding a third dimension to the battlefield is always appreciated.

There are not a whole lot of catwalk style models out there. Pegasus and Microart notably do have some but I can't think of any more off hand. I wouldn't mind seeing a catwalk system that looks like it serves a reason, instead of platforms and catwalks for their own purpose. Something built around a factory, or a storage tank. Maybe modular.

Speaking of which some kind of modular fort or castle system, one that again allows platforms and walls to defend and take.

Solid, boxy buildings that incorporate some gothic detailing like buttresses and arches that provide cover to infantry would be great.

Good terrain should have a cohesive aesthetic, offer interesting challenges to the battlefield (e.g. block line of sight, provide cover) and be useable (i.e. models fit on/in them without sliding about.

For an example of the sort of thing I'd be looking for, a simpler version of this:

...would be ideal. I'm not sure on the scale, but the addition of the flying buttresses provides useable cover and aesthetic appeal compared to something like this, which is serviceable, but doesn't have as much character and owing to the recessed design, means it'll be a headache to get cover from it with a decent-sized group of models.

If you can find a niche between the super-detailed, premium scenery that people offer and the too-plain cheap scenery, you might be on to a winner. I'd suggest looking at companies like War Mill and GameCraft, both of whom provide relatively cheap, but fantastically attractive scenery.

I'd also echo Shadey's point about the third dimension. This piece of terrain:

... looks nice and owing to the connecting bridge, has character and useability.
