I'm not sure your entirely correct in you being able to outflank Gutzmek, and even if you can I'm not sure it's the wisest decision. You lose all of his movement advantages, unless you remove him from the unit as soon as you outflank and still, a lone independent character? He will get shot to pieces, put him in the unit of bikes instead of the nob, or as well as, your call.
I would keep the weapons on your deffkoptas the same, this is for better synergy and range measuring.
Apart from that it seems like a solid ork list, I would love to know how it performs in the Tournament!!

the outflank bit with gutzmek was a hotbutton ruling question. I cleared it with the TO, and its allowable for this tournament. Last game I've run with this list, I ran gutz out solo and he managed to take out a unit, and a vehicle, while surviving waaaayyy too long. mighta just been lots of luck and his aporkalypse bike, but even if he gets ganked early, it makes my opponent fork attention, and generally its after i've decimated something.

I wanted to keep the weaposn the same on the koptas, but dont have the points. Though this makes for diff profiles and lets me wound allocate, and i think the guns have the same range and str.

thanks for the input. i'll try to record how it does and post results

so.. im' considering dropping the buzzsaws from the koptas, and putting a third in with twin linked rokkits. and splitting them into seperate 1 kopta units.
then i'd have 6 points remaining..
    thoughts? suggestions?

It's what I'd choose to do, maybe play w/buzzsaws when you have a few more points to spend.
Any idea what gametype you're playing, if you're playing for killpoints I would leave them as a unit, unless you want to be cheesy and hide them all game.
Otherwise I'm pretty happy with the list you've created, not alot left that can be discussed.

thank you for the advice and confidence boost!
modified version of older tournament deployment and missions.. like suicide and 17th parallel.
one of the missions types deploys using dawn of war setup.. which i hate for my lists.. especially this one.. no dedicated transports.. no hqs i want out solo, no troops i want out alone, and no scout move. UGH

    had the tournament today.
    the list placed in second.

first game against beakies, a stormtalon, a skimmer, 2 bike squads, shrike and a squad. WIN

second against beakies. waaayy too many drop pods, a riflemen dread, and a predator. LOSS

Third against spiky beakies. 2 defilers, 2 squads, a few chaos version of dev squads ( or are they just dev squads?) WIN

were supposed to be more rounds, but some games ran long and its a farewell to 5th, so we didnt push time limits.

how do we deal with absurd amounts of pods???

Should be easier now with 6th. I'm sure there is a defensive fire rule to directly combat deep striking units.
