Forgeworld monsters WE
I've foud out that forgeworld are producing extra units för whfb, primarely destined for the storm of magic as far as i've understood. But still suitable for ordinary battles as well as the description says. But before I would order that monsterbook with al characteristics and such, I'd like to know if any of those creatures are playable in woodelf or dwarf teams?
Or may any race take em on?
(Note that I'm talking of ordinary whfb, not storm of magic)

Re: Forgeworld monsters WE
That's not the right forum pal. Anyway, there's a few special scenarios in the book to use the monsters, but otherwise, they are all scrolls of binding for SoM.

Ok sorry.
No I havent written them, maybe I should.

Thanks anyway

Re: Forgeworld monsters WE
Which book do you mean? Monstrous arcana? If you do mean that in the book itself is a scenario that is basically a pitched battle with monstrous allowance for players to use the big monsters. There is even a neat little chart that tells you who can use what quantity of monsters, for instance dwarfs could get one maybe two shard dragons but Bretonians may only get one at the maximum. If you want to use them for normal WHFB then you may need to house rule a bit, myself and my gaming circle use 25% points limit for the scrolls of binding for normal games of WHFB.
I do not know if you mean monstrous arcana or not, but assuming that is what you meant that is what myself and my friends do regarding using the scrolls in normal WHFB games. I don't know if everyone would allow you to use them though I can see people objecting to people using some of the more extreme monsters. Hope it helps.
