    Is the scar-vet flying solo to hold up units ? if not do you really need crown of command?
    have 3 units of 7 skinks rather than 2 units of 10 for more mobility and general options.
    apart from that i can see anything really wrong with the list the only thin gi think is a bit much is 4 salamanders but if that works for you i spose do it.

    Unit size on skinks is 10-20.

    As far as the actual list goes, I like it a lot. I've never even considered using the crown of command in a unit of saurus. It doesn't really seem necessary, but I like the idea of having another unit that is basically unbreakable. I'd like to know how that works out. One thing I'd consider is swapping the Dragonhelm and GW for LA and shield plus a magic weapon. I'd hate to see that unit waste a turn or two tied down by ethereals. Beating the with static CR always seems to take longer than you want it to.

    But yeah, good list.

    I like it for a general list. The only real difference between this and my own list is that I use an Engine and a Steg and run my Slann solo and a SV in each saurus unit. I just don't think the TG are worth it this edition. But as long as you have enough protection from miscasts at least you should blow them all up around your Slann. I run 2 Sallies also but running 4 could be super nasty depending on what your going up against. If your fight WoC or Ogres they will be better suited just flank charging or something because the flame won't do enough to bother with. Against most of the other armies though they will be scared to death of them and probably target them first which is sweet because then your other units will be into combat before they go down. I think people underestimate how hard it is to kill sallies this edition with the Monster ad Handler rule and the swiftstride and skirmish.

    I fought a shooty empire list today with a lord on a griffon. With pha's kept me pretty safe marching up the field. Chameleons silenced his artillary by turn 3, his lord on griffon and steamtank hit my saurus unit with crown which held to the last man, when I finally was forced to accept the challenge the SV killed the griffon (had 2 wounds left) before being thurnderstoped and dying. The rest of his army was pretty much broken with eiter the temple guard or the 4 salamanders destroying his t3 infantry. Overall im happy with the list as my new all comers (trying to find that tournament list) and will have to playtest it a few more games before making it official.

    I might change out the dragonhelm/gw for sword of striking/shield to combat etherals like you said. ASL and only 2 wounds is also kinda annoying, but even if he dies to 3 models attacks he is still t5 and that only gives them 2 combat res, usually I come out on top and with 30 models deny my opponent steadfast.
