3k WoC - Fairly new player

Fantasy Army: WoC

As the title says, I'm a pretty new Fantasy player and would like some input from the warseer community on a 3k list I'm working on. Any and all input is appreciated.

Sorcerer Lord: Level 4, MoT, Infernal Puppet, Enchanted Shield, Talisman of Preservation, Disc of Tzeentch - 405 points

Chaos Warriors x24: MoT, Hand Weapon/shield, full command - 434 points

Chaos Warriors x24: MoT, Halberd/shield, full command, banner of rage - 493 points

Chaos Marauders x50: MoK, Great Weapons, full command - 300 points

Exalted Hero: MoK, Juggernaut, Sword of Battle, Talisman of Endurance - 225 points

Chaos Knights x8: MoK, full command - 400 points

Marauder Horsemen x5: Throwing Axes - 75 points

Throgg - 175 points

Trolls x5 - 225 points

Warhounds x5 - 30 points

Warhounds x5 - 30 points

Hellcannon - 205 points


Total Cost: 2997

I don't really know how I feel about the hellcannon, I almost feel like I'd be better off taking a chaos sorcerer to carry the puppet, then giving the sorcerer lord a power familiar or something and using the rest of the points elsewhere, but I don't know. Never used a hellcannon before, my opinion of it from reading the book isn't really very high, but I understand that in game and on paper are two very different things, so I'm willing to give it a shot.

Anyway, all comments welcome, just please don't be a douche. Criticize all you like, just be constructive about it, that's really all I ask. =)

Including Throgg and 5 Trolls is awesome. I´ve done this my self several times, and as long as I´ve kept them away from fire they´ve always delivered.

It looks good to me, I'd like to see a warshrine, but it's not a deal breaker. You could drop the Marauder Horsemen (you have hounds for the same job for cheaper), 10 Marauders, and exchange the Talisman of Preservation for a golden eye of tzeench and add a warshrine and you'll be good to go.
