    The up-close shots reveal that these models have some really great proportions, as well.

    Those quickie paint job minies DO look good. It does help that as Lord Dan said, the minies have good proportions. Good details add a lot too.

    So... has anybody else managed to get their hands on a box? As far as I can tell the Conquest Games Webstore is the only place they are available. The Warstore doesnt have them and neither do Wayland or Warlord all of which sell the plastic Norman Knights.

    I picked up a box at Architects of War. Nice looking minis, not great minis, but still very nice.

    I've got a box.

    They're alright, but the concerns folks have about the lack of customisation in the kit (five bodies, five heads on the regular sprue) are well founded. There are also issues to be found with the poseability of some of the arms (certain combinations can lead to some odd looking positions) I've painted about a dozen so far, but don't have easy access to a camera.
