Zombiesmith games have made the pdf version of "This Quar's War" (their rule set designed for company-level engagements in the Quar universe) free from either them or Wargames Vault.
Check it out and give it a read - it's a fun game! I've only played one full battle but enjoyed it a lot. Not overly fiddly and definitely a "beer 'n' pretzels" wargame.

Agreed. Even if you're not interested in the rules, the artwork and fluff make the file worth checking out, especially given it's now free.
