Sweeping advance now uses the highest initiative value within the squad, not the majority.

Makes a character in a squad that bit better.

Gets hot that misses, but not on a 1, and gets a 1 on a re-roll does not cause Gets Hot...
    Where did this read?

The Necron FAQ includes an additional special rule that makes units beam down from the Night Scythe like the transporter from Star Trek!

Judging by how a discussion I'm having in another thread is turning, I vote for people not realizing that Missile Launchers don't come with Flakk Missiles as standard (Rulebook p57 for those interested).

Just noticed too, that units falling back can only fire using the snap shot mechanic, where as previously, they just counted as having moved.

    Liking that.

    Edit to add:

Regrouping now requires more than 25% of the units models to pass, otherwise only passes on insane heroism. And when passed, units can again only fire snap fire.

The new third type of missile that Imperial Missile Lauchers can use, a S7 AP4 Skyfire missile designed to counter flyers.

Yup, this is my interpretation too (and my sense of how many people are thinking).

I guess IoM players are just used to getting what they want.

Hydra has been nerfed as it doesn't have the interceptor rule

I am under the impression only the hydra cannon is sky fire while the heavy bolter
fires at ground units with normal BS

You are right. Only the Autocannons have Skyfire (but both of them still get the Auto Targeting System).

Tyranids with biomancy will be awesome... increase S/T by d3, can heal up to 2 wounds with shooting attack, can increase I/A by D3, can gain 5+ FnP/5+ wound recovery, can drop enemies S/T by one... awesome.

Tank Hunters is nasty, you can reroll the whole penetration throw if wished..

GAUSS weapons... you dont need any AT with Necrons anymore, just 10 plain warriors will kill that Landraider in a single shooting phase... Simply NUTS and OP...

Toughness in (..) is the actual T now.. makes bikes or such more awesome..
There are only two kind of men- the dead and the deadly.

Which leads to something I think most people will overlook... Normal guys using grenades in assault vs MCs. All Marines (bar Templar) start with Frag and Krak - so can fight with single S6 attacks in combat.

Similarly, I think alot of people are overlooking the assault through cover mechanic, thinking a bit too much about how rules were, not how they now are.

Which rulebook have you been reading? Neither of these are true.

If a transport gets assaulted the passengers can fire overwatch from the fire points. For an open topped vehicle all the passengers can fire overwatch! Battlewagon full of shooter boys ahoy!

Better delete this thread before too many people actually memorize the nonsense that is being posted.
Of all the threads in all the forums in all the world you had to post into this one.

Wow, do people read the book first. You can't overwatch out of a vehicle. Silly kids. The vehicle is being assaulted, not them.

The first paragraph on page 80 would disagree with you.
