The way I understand it they sent out copies early not some of the backers, but not all of them.
Then they went to GenCon and sold copies there, which greatly upset some of the backers who had not gotten their copy yet.

    Not very thoughtful of them.

I didn't mind them selling at Gencon, they need to market the game, but their public relations was pretty poor. They advertised just before Gencon that all had been shipped and they had extra copies for Gencon, while at the same time telling KS backers that only some had been shipped. They originally said shipping would go out in order of people who pledged, but chose to just do as many of the US backers as they could instead. Response to people complaining was basically put up with it or take a refund. I could go on, but this isn't the thread for it I guess, the short of it is they've not really been very honest or respectful to people who went out on a limb and gave them money months ago for a game that nobody really knew a lot about. Oh actually probably the most childish is the latest Zombicide update, randomly picking people to buy 3 Abomination sets that were spare because three people got so annoyed they sought a refund, it is titled "The Don't Panic Raffle Results" as a direct dig at the user Panic (from dakkadakka and his name on KS) who was the first to get a refund.

Hopefully November won't have a big convention to distract them so Sedition Wars will roll out much smoother. I've been reading a fair bit into the background storied and interviews with McVey and such and I think the Sedition Wars universe is going to be very exciting. They already have an expansion planned and possibly started (not going to be another CMON KS thank god) and there is talk of down the line expanding it into a tabletop skirmish game. For me at least its probably going to replace 40k as the sci-fi game I play. The sculpts of Hexen and Dr Ridley are looking very impressive too so I'm adding all the KS unique characters.

Does anyone have a link to the CoolMiniOrNot Kickstarter Pledge Manager (CKPM)?
I received my password for it, but no link.

    You're welcome.

My transfer just went in so I just made my order of one Biohazard, one Opticamo and one Terrain pack. I wasn't able to get an answer out of CMON on the makeup of those two dozen Vanguard modified/added by the stretch goals, but hopefully I won't regret it once we find out what we're actually getting.

Lily's quite lovely. She'll have to get some nutty paint job and an equally crazy THI Carapace to go along with her.
...and a little help comes in a little glass vial in a gun pressed against her anatomy...

Re: Sedition Wars: Battle for Alabaster

I've been wondering...is that a character I am supposed to know from somewhere else?
I recognize the Firefly crew and Caprica Six, but the rest mean nothing to me.
Oh, wait, Ripley and Vasquez, too. But that's it.

Re: Sedition Wars: Battle for Alabaster

Jada "Iron" Lily is a canon character and belongs in the Sedition Wars universe she is a THI pilot (the THI suits will have a Jada head option) she may resemble a certain Tank girl but that's coincidental

"Trapped in the cargo facility, conscript Jada "Iron" Lily has survived while jacked into a sturdy THI lifter. Now Jada is clocking some harsh overtime, crushing strain skulls and trying to escape the predatory contagion infecting Alabaster station."

Ridley is Ellen Ripley from Aliens.
Keegan Kor is Riddick from Pitch Black
Niven Banks is a Canon character as well but he is wearing Issac Clarke's Dead Space armour.
Hexen Phaedrus is also a canon character. Both Hexen and Niven well appear in an expansion with new minis and different look.

It reminds me of one of the chicks from Paole Parentes Dust more then Tank Girl - either way, it aint original.

As for Niven, I don't quite understand what you mean by wearing his armour - his armours head to foot, its not like you can mistake him for someone else

Thanks Satan I sent them one a couple days ago but have yet to get any reply back so I thought I'd try a different method.
