Opinions required.
On pg 390 of the new rule book, there's a gate that looks like it's made up from bits of the Skyshield pad and the fortress of redemption. But it's so 'neat' that I wonder... is it infact a new terrain set? an Imperial gate of some sort?

Nah, pretty sure it's a kit-bashed Fortress if Redemption.

Terrain is very useful now in 6th so we're bound to see new terrain kits. However, could you possibly post the photo on warseer? Not all of us have a rule book

All of that is existing stuff in various degrees of conversion, mixed with some 2-up and 3-up models.
That is to say, pretty typical fare for a GW show table.
It looks like pieces from the fortress of redemption
Given the new precedent from WFB of releasing bits of larger kits as smaller ones (Witchfate Tor/Dreadblight & Skullvane Manse & Deathsomething Thingamie) I wouldn't be at all surprised if we see the bunker sections of the Fortress of Redemption released as a seperate kit at some point.
