I've been a big fan of tabletop wargaming since about 1990. I was introduced by a friend who played Warhammer 40k and fell in love with the art side of this lifestyle. I played many games but with only a couple of guys to play with (all of which would route me every match) I decided my interests would focus mostly on the art (building, painting, conversions, etc.) which was my strong contribution to our little club. Well that was 20 years ago and I haven't played a match in about 15 years, but I have continued to keep up with the Warhammer 40k universe (I am a big BIG fan of the novels and even have and read many of the rulebooks and such often). My renewed interest in the art aspect has brought me here where I have discovered many very talented artists and been inspired to get back into the converting of figures and building scenery and ruins and such. I am not tied down to Warhammer 40k though, after researching the whole wargaming scene I have found many games of all time periods that I find fascinating (although 40k is what i love). So... here I am... ready to delve back into the creative process of building worlds. I would still like to play but unfortunately I currently have no one to stomp me to a bloody space marine pulp.
