    Home Made Hierotitan

So after quite a while or finally getting around to it here is my home made hierotitan

Made from half a necrosphinx and half a tyranid mawloc for the body. A vampire counts corpse cart brazier with sewing pins to make the lantern. And the staff was made from 3 separate war scythes from the Sepulchral Stalkers box.

    I hope you like it.

Wow! Yep.. I like it. I REALLY like it! Fantastic work. I've been trying to figure out how I'd like to create mine, but hadn't thought of using a Mawloc body as I've been looking for legs. lol. Now this has got me thinking in a different path. Thank you very much for sharing. Any chance we might get a better picture? The lighting is a bit off and a little hard to see some details.

I like the base work (used a doll house driveway/shingling?) ! Cool idea using the corpse cart bit- I have been struggling to find something as scales. I like your Hierotitan much better than this guy:

Check out this video on YouTube:

I actually used baking clay to model the snake/naga part myself, the 40k tail bit is pricy if you ask me
"just make the Base size reasonable" go go 100mm by 100mm!

    "they cannot stop the signal-!"

    Re: Home Made Hierotitan

Cheers for the kind words guys

Cedric - I'll try and get another photo tonight at some point. Just got in from a long day so I'll do it when I get a chance

TsukeFox - The bases are from base-x-of-war (http://www.base-x-of-war.com/html/de...ngs_bases.html) from the desert king range. I use them for all my TK's. I got the mawlock body from ebay, so it didn't cost me too much. I wouldn't have bought a whole kit for it. I also wanted the model to look how it describes in the book; staff and a torch. So the guys on that youtube video is nice, but doesn't follow the fluff.

Crube - I'll try and get it painted by the end of the month, but I'm working on my warsphinx and bone giant at the moment

Yeah their bases are really nice, and movement trays to go with them, I've got them as well. They look great but man I must have spent over £100 on bases just for this TK army, so it is a toss up, but I am glad I did it.

Cheers man. I've found though it isn't that great in game, and my army is relatively magic based. It's a bit one dimensional. For the same points I'd rather have a bone giant

    Looking even better, Sir!

Only thing I would mention is there appears to be a (relatively) large mould line / sprue mark on the carapace bits - see the photo. Something that coulf spoil the final mini... maybe best to trim it now if you can...
