I've access to a laser cutter locally, but haven't anywhere near the artistic skills required to do cool stuff like this - so can I make a begging plea for any plans you feel like uploading?![]()
Any way we could buy these off you as printed sheets?
Selling my Space Marine Army including Tac squads, Scouts, rhino's and bikes etc.
Feel free to make me an offer:

Hi, your plans are amazing ! Thanks a lot for sharing them :-)
Looking good... really goodI use a lot of 3mm mdf btw (question on last page)
I'm not done assembling it yet and I think I want to make a few changes to the design but otherwise I'm really happy with it! As you can see I've added pallets and crates so I'm going to do a Supply Depot game first with it.
That looks awesome! I love how laser cutting makes it look good without having to paint over the top
Again, as soon as you can make plans for this available I'd love to give it a go myself. Heck, I'd even buy them!
Hi Higland piper,
I used your bastion plans to build a small outpost, in order to get familiar with them before building more ambitious things. They are very well done, and theirr accuracy allow very simple assembly.
All the structure is built from cereal box (execept door and control panel). Double layer (1mm) for inside support, enlarged floor and base, single layer (0.5 mm) for all the rest.
Your plans are definitely great !! thanks for sharing.

bulldog2708 - You have made my day!I can't wait to see your ambitious build!
Almost finished the arbites HQ using Higland pier's plans and cereal box card. Just to add bolters.
Plans are really easy to work with.
By the way, crenellation could be used to build some defense lines, aegis style.
Thanks Higland Piper !.
More things planned, as soon as I'll rebuilt my cereal box stock....
I've no access to a laser cutter, but I built a CNC mill.
Few months ago I've designed some stuff to be cut with my CNC machine, among them a barricade set (pics below)
Attachment 149865Attachment 149868
These were designed to be cut in 3mm MDF, but I think they can be cut by hand from 3 mm matboard or foamboard.
All the parts are in the PDF (one design per page : gate, short barricade, long barricade and a corner).
Enjoy.
Wow! bulldog2708 you rock!
Bulldog2708, those are awesome plansI took them along to the Fab Lab on Friday to make a set, but a problem importing meant I had 4mm slots rather than 3 - so then I scaled it all down to 75% which has left me with slightly stumpy walls
No harm done, though (plywood sheets are about £1.50 each) and so I've imported the plans into Solidworks to tweak them about - I might try making a high set of walls to match the gate, and I've edited the corner buttress pieces to fit a bit more neatly.
Have you (and you, Highland Piper!) considered adding these plans to Thingiverse? It's a repository for all sorts of 3D designed items, whether they're to be 3D printed, CNC machined, laser cut or just made from foamboard. I'm keen to add my variations on your plans but would much prefer to credit you properly by listing them as a derivation of your work.

Hi Onefreeman,
Nice set.
I think the problem as occured when i transferred plan from my cnc design tool to pdf. I may also come from the fact that they were designed to be cut with a 3mm mill and not with a laser.
Anyway it sems you fixed it very well :-) .
I'll have a look to thinkgiverse, thanks for the info.
Cheers.
Fortess finished, with bolters added.
Also pics of crenellation used to build Aegis type defense line.
Next up is my plasma generator. Getting a quote of having it MDF cut so I can just knock out 4-8 of the right away
I've ordered one laser cut so I can test it out. If it works out I will order 3-7 more.
