    black suits comin'

    Hi to everybody!

    First of all: excuse me for my english, it's not my language if you find errors correct me without problems!

    Ok, now WH40.000

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSS4dk8oX3c

    I've decided to start a true scale deathwatch squad, the coolest marines in the Imperium!

    I don't play very much so i fell free to take some license on the equipments of these models; however if i play them i will use they like GK paladins or SW wolfguard teminators for the very flexible equipments.

    Now the first models:

    Dark angels => Paladin with storm bolter and power sword

    Mentor legionary => Generic paladin/vessillary

    Raven Guard => Paladin with psicannon

    Imperial Fist sergeant => Paladin with thunder hammer

    I'm not a great modeller, so for the "true scale" i prefer only fill the terminator legs and put on them a regular space marine torso, it's not the best way but i think that the result is however good.

    In the next days i will post the others marines

    As someone who uses that particular brand of truescaling for the big bosses of my armies, I'd say they look good so far. I especially like the Mentor Legion guy.
    I also vote that you go all out and make a DW army representing GK terminators, doesn't need to be big, but it will look pretty awesome ^^

    Re: black suits comin'

    A little change on the topic:

    this is my interpretation of inquisitorial henchman with power armour/ AD Mech soldier; i will use it like generic marine (tactical, grey hunter ecc...)

    I just used a normal assault marine body without shoulder pad because they are too big for a small miniature like this, also i used the elysian head because is more small than the regular one and to differentiate it from the tipical marine

    another little up-date:

    with these miniatures, the henchmen/AD Mech soldiers I want to gave to them a sci-fi style than a gothic one.
    I really like the meltabomb, it is very cartoon-style

    And now, my proxy for Vulkan:

    Magos Explorator => Vulkan

    just a few explantions:

    servo-arm => halberd

    flame-pistol => gauntlet of fire

    auspex, backpack, mechanicus weapons ecc... => twin-linked weapons

    And now another HQ:

    Magos Psykana => Librarian

    A very simple work: i had cutted the boltgun from the standard techmarine and i had resculpted the in; itry to gave (with scuplting and painting) him the effect of shooting one psychic power.

    I know: the result is pretty funny

    Hey Yenluiar,

    I like your use of Ellysian heads. Also the lack of shoulder pads makes the soldier look 'stronger' imo.

    I also like your true scale conversions especially the heavy bolter marine.

    Looking forward to the next update.

    Thank you Fle!

    Yes, the use of the elysian head with the lack of the shoulder pads create a much more slim but power figure

    The HB marine and the mentor are my favourite True scale marines.

    another update:

    Razorback Phobos

    it is a very simple modify of a laser-plasma razorback: i take the lascannon of the imperial bastion for the lascannon and a plasma cannon of a sentinel plus the sensors of the missile of the marines' tank for the tl plasmagun.

    A little note about the painting: actually it is very minimal, i will add later more details, military symbols and the name.
