FFG: Gears of War - The Board Game

Looking to both stock and get a copy of this for myself, has anybody on Warseer played/got this? Not sure how long its been out but I just discovered it. Looks like you can actually paint the figures your own Gears colours as well using citadel paints! Its made by Fantasy Flight Games, so... Anyone?

I have this and played with my friends. It's not easy to win and you need real cooperation from your team mates or you'll get totally owned.

Yes - I've got this as well and played through most of the missions. It does a really good job of recreating the tense feel of the video game. Teamwork and desperation against the odds.

The figures are very good. I'd say the Locust figures come off looking the best. Some of the Cog figures look very similar - but painting them would make them stand out. You can also check out the Wizkids line of Gears of War figs - they are about the same scale/size once you pull them off their bases - some of the... er... all of the paint jobs are pretty bad, but if you're painting the figs anyway, repainting these to match will give you more character and locust options.
