Very new to warmachine and am looking for create a some what themed storm based list. I like the models.

Stormblade Infantry (9)
- Includes UA and stormgunner
Stormguard (5)
Storm Lances (7)
Anyone like the list? Should I be adding more solo style characters to assist?

A couple of questions first...
1) is this Commander or Lord Commander Stryker?
2) why the Stormclad instead of Stryker's best buddy Ol' Rowdy?
You've also got the points wrong for the Stormguard unit. A basic minimum squad is 6 points. Only the basic Stormblades are 5 points.
In terms of making this army work I don't see why it wouldn't, but I honestly prefer more jacks than just one. I'd look at dropping the cavalry for another jack (if you are using Cmdr. Stryker a Lancer to arc Earthquake is a good choice) or maxing out the size of the Stormguard, adding another Storm Gunner and Arlan Strangewayes. Another option would be to drop both the Stormguard and Storm Lances and using those points for the ultimate electric jack, the Thunderhead. But that's only if ya wanna go a bit silly.
