Well because its not warhammer i'll give a stab at some fluff and rules

    WARPWOLF

Shiborganheim was a normal town with normal people until one Gehemisnacht. The chaos moon Morrslieb waxed full and green glowing metors rain down upon the town. They rained down destroying homes and the villagers inside until no stood. Some hid in cellars fearing an unnatural storm at work but if examined today you would find naught but mysteriously locked cellar doors and nawed bones...

However there were survivors. 2, a boy and his dog. But the metorites that rained down that night were not of natural materials. The chaos moon Morrslieb was made of otherworldy matter: warpstone. Warpstone has an effect to mutat. Man losing his sanity and becoming beast. Beast rearing up on its hide legs and poardying man. That is what happened on that fateful night.

The young boys name has passed into educated guesses but has now been replaced. They were trapped in the wreakedge of their village and refused to consume one another, they were forced to eat chunks of the meteors. They devoled into abominations intent on leting them selves survive even if it meant killing their companion...

One day, the boy gave into his cravings for meat. Delicious warm meat. He could stand it no more and lunged at his dog.He could tell that the dog had the same idea in mind for at he same time it turn and snarled then pounched. the dog teeteh bit deep into the boys flesh. Then the weird things started to happen the boy no longer had any control over his muscles and the dog's jaws loosened. Then things got weirder the dog lost his forn and became a sloppy jelly like substance. It wrapped itself around the boy and he began to mutate. He retatied hes human like posture but had the body of a dog. Then began his campaign of terror...

After that the beast has become a figure of awe. Having at least a bounty of 2000 in all of the civilized provinces in the old word he is responsibe for atleast 12 imperial general deaths, And the destruction of an entire town. Posing as a beggar in town until Morrsleib waxes full he transforms into a monster wishing to kill and eat everyone in sight. so is it that a young boy has been plauged with the curse of the warpwolf for decades and problebly centuries doomed to exist as a monster until his doom is met snarl and claw...

    Re: Warpwolf?

Alone for the "Beast Howl" the cost must be 1000 points or more!

With this special attack you can (without risk) decimate whole armies of skaven, empire, bretonnia, goblins, elves etc.
Position him so that you are within 6" of 3 big or expensive units (empire / bretonnian knights, stormvermin horde, White lions etc.) make your special attack and after it this three units will have lost 50% of their units and the game is over.

Spells and warmachines can do the same, but there is a risk (miscast, misfire etc.). And against this attacks you have some kind of protections (dispells, Ironcurse item, stormbanner etc.), but with this special attack you can do it without any risk and there is no protection of any kind ... I am happy that this is no official rule!!!

What would you achive with it?

    Re: Warpwolf?

You have a point. But your opponent could counter it by sending in a strong unit to straight out kill him. He can never join units and really doesnt have that much protection. I guess hes more of a disruption unit and could esily be killed by artilary.
