Arena of death?

hey guys I posted this in the wrong section but anyways. I was wondering if there are any active arenas of death. I'm looking any arena without a full roster hopeing to get a character into the charnage. Thanks if anyone can refer me to one.

we are mid way through mal's famous doubles arena, however I was pondering starting either a long walk north (1 caracter from each book vs units of chaos troops, starting from marrauders and lesser deamons and working up to chaos lords and GD, you enter 1 caracter each and work as a team) or TMCFOC (pair of caracters having to face up to the most expensive special caracter form each book) not sure witch to run

That sounds interesting is it any book or just order? Etheir Way I'd like to be involved.Also for the other arena what would you do where there are 2 characters with the same points value in highest like in beastmen where malagor and gorthor are both 350 pts or with skaven where a vermin lord is the most expensive model not a special character.

long walk north is all of the non chaos books
tmcfoc would be a coin toss, or working out which is most suitable for the area, and it has to be special caracters, so the it wouln't be the verimin lord

Oh cool. Would you have to fight the special characters in their ow advantage like being forced to use magic against karios fateweaver?

no you could use anything you like within mal's normal rules, not sure yet, need to see what books I can borrow and what books I need to get hold of

I have also been thinking about starting an arena that was two in one and there was a vanilla arena with an extended fighter list and a specail arena where the fighters work as a team and have to slay monsters from the strom of magic four at a time and in increasing order of points. But you can go first cuz I had some drafts but must of gotten rid of them.

Danny-d-b are you still planning to do this? I am sorry about all of the questions but I was simply trying to keep the conversation alive (although its been dead for 4 months). I would like to post my areana as i have finnaly found my drafts. However im no mal so people will most likely ingnore my arena. To better our chances of getting someone to join I would like to know whether or not your would like to post your arena first or if you would like me to post mine. Please respode and onnce mal's arena endes we can post one of ours.

Warboss im sure everyone would be interested in your arena if ou put it up weve had times when there were lots of arena's and a quest like scenario going at the same time. There was arenas where participants were seperated into teams and discussed strategies, free for alls where each fighter randomly attacked another participant (the chaos runesheilds wreaked havoc in this) and of course Malorians doubles. So if youve got the resources (every army book) then go for it!

I just assumed that mal's arena would draw alot of attention and people would overlook my arena. Unfoutunatly I dont own the books of men or elves and I can borrow empire and brettonia for friends but the elves remain out of my reach. How do people usulay aquire these books? Also as a quick question for my arena ,no items will be restircted for the second arena ,but the first arena what should be resticted? Obvisously the fellblade and daemonsword, and rune of steel and pendent of kaleith for unkillable models but what else should i be looking at. However things like the grude rune and shrunken head will only affect one model in the entire arena. Also in other peoples arena's I notice something consirning always strike first among other things. an someone explain to me what this is? Sorry about the nooby questions bu this is my first time. Ill try noyt to overload with rules but I like the idea of having something else in the arena. It wont be much thought.

I'd have a look at mals rules- (being around the longest their there fairist) its offen things with a crazy effect such as the speculum or something that destroys weaponry being more dangerous than something like the fellblade
