Best Fantasy Arena of Death Race

Hello! I highly doubt that anyone cares but what do you think is the best race or even build for an arena of death. I'm making this fourm as a fountain of knowledge for guys who are looking for some awesome fighters. Let the archive begin.

[Why]

Treeman ancient with Annoyance of netlings and any other random spites. Best character I can think of for 1VS1.

However I'm not sure I understand what this arena of death is. Does it have it's on rules like Mordheim or is it just a one on one character battle using the warhammer rule set.

In my opinion, Empire, for very silly reasons, but said silly reasons are good silly reasons.

Empire Wizard with Speculum. Every opponent he faces will be WS 3, 1 A, S 3, T3, I 3(Or 4, I can't remember. Doesn't matter tremendously) while the Wizard will take their stats. Those stats are inherently better.

Dwarf lord with a 1+RR, 4+ ward and the rune of steel.
Allows him an unmodifiable 3+RR armour save and a 4+ ward.
So good, Malorian banned the rune of steel after that arena (shakes fist)

depends if we are doing anything goes or mal's adapted rules
if we are not then wizzards with the speculam, unkillable dwarfs, unkillable dreadlords and bloodthirsters with anti magic weapons all come to the fore

I dont think you can actully enter greater daemon and ancient treemen because the points max is usualy 250 isn't it?
