Hard drive help needed for my laptop!
So I have a Toshiba Satellite thats about 5 years old. A few days ago, its started doing this thing where I boot it up, it runs fine for about 3 minutes and then freezes. This happenes literally every time I load it, the only thing that works properly on it is media player.
I think my hard drive is dying and I think I need a replacement. Can anyone recommend a decent hard drive (bigger than 120GB) thats fairly cheap. Was looking at
this but i don't really know what I'm looking at.
Any advice would be really helpful.
I put a 750GB Scorpio Blue in my MacBook Pro recently. Can't complain. It's quiet (low rpm) but fast enough. I think the drive you linked to should be fine as long as you're happy with the capacity.
Re: Hard drive help needed for my laptop!
Hard drives are much of a muchness if you're not a storage / performance junkie. Nothing wrong with that one.
