Wow. I surely thought this flying chariot business was either wild speculation, someone not getting a clear or completed view of the model, or some other mistake. Well "flying chariot" does not sound encouraging at all. But those are just two words - here's hoping for an awesome model that fits into the HE canon of aesthetics and fluff.People should be enjoying their flying chariots etc mar/apr 2013

I dont really care what kind of crap they add to the game anymore, as i released myself from our self-imposed chains (rules limitations) long ago... However i always welcome new cool models and ideas and thats why i still follow GW news!

Well, have a look at the new Seeker Chariot of Slaanesh for example. It's not your traditional "Ben Hur" chariot. At a glance it looks similar to your standard tomb king chariot for example, yet the concept / structure is very different when taking a closer look. I imagine this flying chariot to be more of a "war machine on wings" if you may. Maybe a great eagle / small dragon carrying two elven archers on a small scaled "mumakil-like-tower" - forgot what they called the structure used by the LotR Haradrim. Currently, the high elf chariots are driven by either standard spearelves or axe-wielding white lions. Maybe we'd have shooty flying chariots now? I doubt they'd create flying chariots for pikemen... note this is just me trying to think what GW could possibly do. After all, they seem to have gotten pretty creative with monsters recently, i must say i'm v.curious to see what they come up with now!

Here's for hoping. I cannot possibly see a way they can pull a flying chariot in the Helf army off. The buff carts for Empire barely worked and Helfs have a completely different look and feel. Not to mention way of fighting. I would hate to have to depend on a model I don't even want for my army in order for it to fight to its full potential.

Did you mean those amusements from the Altdorf circus that frequent the provinces every year? You know the miniature prop versions of what the institutions of the Empire have been creating back home in the capital.
If you take a look at that leaked document with GW future products you can find there Eldar Sky Chariots / Shining Spears. Maybe that rumor is just a mistake and there won't be any high elf flying chariot, but 40k elf flying chariot.
Well it is hastings who has said it.. and unless hes been having serious troubles with drink lately...Its a flying chariot what is coming.
He has stated it when he 1st dropped the bomb (although in succint manner) he also finds it ridiculous, unless i got it really wrong back then :/.
How is 'flying chariot' any worse than 'lion chariot'? Why don't you wait until you actually see it before whining. I personally am looking forward to seeing it, if I don't like it I won't buy it.
