Big deal, if they ever get monstrous calvary we know the unit cap on pretty much everything will vanish.

Regardless of monstrous cav, the unit cap will vanish anyway, they've all vanished since 7th ed already.

That looks very good and very menacing. If I were to face a unit of those on the table, I think that would make me pee in my pants first (luckily, I play brettonians ).

Man, this is great news. Thanks Harry.

I know it's all to be taken with a grain of salt but I'm still excited. My first army in Fantasy was dwarfs way back in like 3-4th ed howeverI've always wanted Bretonnians but I just felt their army was a bit limiting game-play wise.

I've mostly gone to 40k these days and I told myself I would spend unknown gobs of cash to have a proper knightly army should Bretonnians ever be re-done. I'd love to see the rumored ethereal longbowmen and spectral cavalry (spirits of warriors past coming to help the Bretons in their time of need!) Also I'd love to see some dismounted knights, or great-swords wielding, Templar style knights. Only time will tell...until then we can only pray the Lady answers our prayers!

Anyone wants to verify or debunk the rumour that the new GW Brettonia campaign will be indicative of proposed changes to Bret rules and that the army book is definitely 'in progress'?

What bretonnian campaign? What new rules? Is this from that sales magazine I subscribed to back in the mid 90s when gw still had a place for creativity?

I think this is it (scroll down past the 40K event): http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/co...&aId=20900003a

I couldn't see any new Bretonnian rules on the pdf, but I've only had time for a quick skim.

I hope you don't mean the "Campaign Weekend" at Warhammer World? If so, what would that have to do with a Bretonnian book? Even with the most cursory glance at it, it's clearly just a setting for a few games, as is the 40k equivalent.
